Angela Rodriguez

Angela Rodriguez, age 70, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Wednesday September 4, 2019 in Rockwall, Texas. Angela was born July 21, 1949 in Lampazos, Nuevo Leon. She graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in 1967 and worked in various industries and ending her career with the one that gave her the most fulfillment by working in the Dallas Independent School district as a teacher's assistant at Comstock Middle School until her retirement. Angela attended St. Augustine Catholic Church, and was very active in her community. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and family. Angela was preceded in death by her parents Arcadio Rodriguez, and Josefina Villarreal de Rodriguez. She is survived by her loving daughter Adriana Garza and husband Robert Garza; grandchildren Robert Garza Jr. and Jacob Garza; siblings Martha Rodriguez, Rita Lassberg, Arcadio "Billy" Rodriguez, Antonio Rodriguez, Ruben Rodriguez and his wife Julee; nieces and nephews Carmen Castaneda, Joe Lassberg, Johnny Rodriguez, Veronica Godfrey, Ryan Lassberg, Kory Strickland, Rita Theilan, and Kody Strickland; great nephew Gavin Lassberg; grand dogs Lucy and Zoey, brothers and sisters of the St. Augustine 2nd Community, and many other family members and friends. A visitation for Angela will be held Monday, September 9, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home. A rosary service will follow from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Cemetery Chapel, 3900 Rowlett Rd, Rowlett, TX 75088.
