Obituary of Clyde Franklin Watson
Clyde Franklin Watson was born July 15th, 1934 in Middletown, Ohio to the late Nal and Jurrell Watson. On June 12th, 2019, Clyde departed this world and began his new life. Clyde was united in Holy Matrimony to Sarah Mosby and Helen Sorrells, both who preceded him in death. From both of these unions there were a total of 8 children. Clyde was employed for many years at the Hewitt Soap Company in Dayton, Ohio and as a young man, he served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed singing to everyone and his favorite songs were How Great Thou Art and Somewhere Over The Rainbow. Clyde was a faithful member at Sure Foundation Holiness Church. Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Nal and Jurrell Watson; one brother, James Watson; five sisters, Louise Broughton, Aredia Goodson, Mary Walker, Linda Hammonds and Anna Walton. He leaves to cherish his memory, two sisters, Irene Watson and Jewell Clemons, both of Middletown, Ohio; one sister in law, Bessie Watson of Dayton, Ohio; three sons: Clyde Timothy Watson (Beverly) of Dayton, Ohio, Ramon Watson of Middletown, Ohio, Anthony Jackson of Dayton, Ohio and Clinton Johnson of Middletown, Ohio; five Daughters, Irene (Ricky) Yancey of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Rita Trusty of Columbus, Ohio, Regina Evans of Dayton, Ohio, Klaire (Jamie) Keeton of Sunrise, Florida, Bonnie Allen of Dayton, Ohio and Shanell Crowder of Dayton, Ohio. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Also, a host of other relatives and friends. Clyde was a loving dad to his children and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 12:00 pm on Monday, June 24 at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery.
