Carol Jones Talley

On May 29, 2019, Carol Ann Jones Talley met face to face with the love of her life, her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Carol Ann was born on December 31, 1946 in Montgomery, AL where she lived most of her life. She is the oldest of seven children born of Paul and Lorena Jones. Carol Ann is the beloved mother of three daughters. She was fondly known as “Nana” to 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren whom loved her dearly! Carol Ann will always be remembered and cherished for the loving and protective spirit she had for her loved ones. She loved spending time with her family and was the best cook and baker. Her delicious cream cheese pies, homemade coconut cakes, and the special homemade biscuits with tomato gravy will not soon be forgotten. Her laughter and beautiful smile will be in our hearts forever! She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul L. and Lorena Grier Jones, grandson Jacob Louis Jinright, brother in law Jimmy Hughes (Linda), sister in law Debbie Jones (Robert). Carol Ann is survived by her three daughters; Kimberly Chandler Jinright (Louie), Misty Chandler O’Brian (George), Carol Leigh Richards (Ronnie), her seven grandchildren; Jessica Richards Chappell (Tye), Rachel Jinright Gilliland (Scott), Hope Owen Baxley (J.C.), Logan Richards Bone (Zach), Ian O’Brian, Cole O’Brian and Karsen Grace Richards, her nine great-grandchildren; Tyson and Charlie Chappell, Conor Jake Gilliland, Hadley and Kanon Baxley, Gage Bone, Caroline Bass, Stella Bone, and Waylon Bone. Carol Ann is also survived by 3 brothers and 3 sisters; Robert Jones, Mary Jones Peoples (Richard), Linda Jones Hughes, Deborah Jones Elwell, Mark Jones, and Coley Jones. Carol Ann leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and friends to cherish her memory. Services will be held at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home on Saturday, June 1, 2019. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 pm followed by a Graveside at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens.
