ERRORE, Ourania (Rania) (née Criticou) Peacefully and surrounded by love on Thursday June 14, 2018 in Chania, Crete, Greece. Devoted daughter of the late Anastasia and Antonios. Beloved wife of the late Antonino. Ourania was a wonderful and much loved mother to Sandro, Paolo and daughter-in-law Heidi. She was the cherished younger sister of Elizabeth and Constantina. Loving godmother to Anthony and Elizabeth. Beloved aunt to Smaragda (Evangelos), Michel (Bessie), Pierre (Tina), her many nieces and nephews and family in Italy, Greece and Australia. Ourania will be dearly missed by her family, longtime friends and neighbours, and warmly remembered by her colleagues and students from her 30 years as an educator at the Socrates School in Montreal. Her family is deeply thankful for the wonderful support of friends, all those who knew her, and for the care she received at the Montreal Jewish General Hospital and St. George’s Hospital in Chania. Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 28 from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Collins Clarke MacGillvray White Funeral Home 5610 Sherbrooke St. West, Montreal QC H4A 1W5. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 29 at 11:00 am at St. Michael’s Orthodox Church 11801 Elie-Blanchard Ave, Montréal, QC H4J 1R7 followed by a private burial at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montreal Jewish General Hospital would be appreciated. Mom, you are much loved.
