Sherrie A. Trent

Sherrie A. Trent, 74, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana, following an extended battle with kidney disease. She was born on July 28, 1944, in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Eugene and Mary (Prather) Curtis. Sherrie was a life-long resident of Delaware County and retired from Borg-Warner. She enjoyed sewing, camping, traveling, and loved animals. More than anything, Sherrie enjoyed being with her family. Survivors include three daughters, Kellie (husband, Dean) Hutton, Lisa (husband, Curt) Hastings, and Judi (husband, Bryan) Beeson; five grandchildren, Chase, Erika, Hannah, Drew, and Logan; four great-grandchildren, Kaylei, Carter, Ava, and Eli; one sister, Donna Wallisa; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Thomas Curtis; and her husband, Ron Trent. A Celebration of Sherrie’s Life will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana, 47304.
