Dorothy Louise (Hanna) Rambin

Dorothy Louise Hanna Rambin passed away on May 31, 2019 in Nacogdoches, Texas. She was born on August 10, 1948 in Nacogdoches, Texas to parents, Edgar Lacy Hanna and Elna Johnston Hanna. Louise was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She graduated from Nacogdoches High School and received a Master’s Degree in English from Stephen F. Austin State University. Louise was a classic homemaker with her family and the farm that always came first. She was a Breast Cancer supporter and enjoyed the Relay for Life when she was able to participate. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Charles Rambin; sons, Stephen Rambin, Kevin Rambin, Kenny Rambin and Charles Rambin; grandchildren, Charles Rambin, Zach Rambin, and Natalie Rambin; brother, Marc Hanna; sister, Jo Crabtree. She is preceded in death by her parents. A Graveside service will be held, 10:00 AM, Monday, June 3, 2019, Shady Grove Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to a visitation, Sunday, June 2, 2019 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Cason Monk-Metcalf, located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches. The Family would like special thanks to be given to her caregivers, Louise DeValcourt and Tammy Gilbert.
