Ursula Woods

Mrs. Ursula Woods, age 77, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019. Ursula was born in Windecken near Hanau/Main, Germany, to the late Walter Dechesne and Anna Lina Luise Ottilie née Schleiter. She retired from Bordeaux Hospital in environmental services. She was known in Donelson for her license plate “#1SEXYGRANNY.” Ursula loved animals, had a good, fun-loving personality, and was a fantastic mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Karen Sieber. Ursula is survived by her daughters, Susan (Steve) Pryor and Pat (David) Brown; grandchildren, Catherine Biggs and Michael Biggs; step-grandchildren, Jessica Hartley and Aaron Pryor; great grandson, Kingston Biggs; step-great granddaughter, Olive Hartley; siblings, Walter and Malice; and faithful four-legged companion, Alex. The Celebration of Life will be at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 4:00 pm with Dr. Jud Hays officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
