Richard V Cleaver

Richard Vincent Cleaver 77, of Goose Creek, SC passed away peacefully on January 2, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born on August 21, 1941 in Wilmington, Delaware. He was the oldest of 11 children to Alfred S. and Ella T. Cleaver. He went on to join the USN where his highest rank was Command Master Chief. He served honorably for 26 years. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Brenda R (DeLene) Cleaver, 8 children and spouses, 8 brothers and sisters, 19 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will be accepting friends and family Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home and services following at 2:00 pm at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be held at the Valor Section of the Carolina Memorial Park with military honors, all located at 7113 Rivers Ave. North Charleston.
