OBITUARY
Mavis Irene Morris
November 2, 1929 – March 31, 2018
Born in Vancouver, raised in South Vancouver, where she attended John Oliver High School. Mavis moved to North Vancouver in 1949. Predeceased by her beloved second husband Chalmers; brother Fred; and first husband Jack. Survived by sons, Bob (Judy), Dan; daughter, Marli; stepchildren Kirstine (Mike), Stuart, Derek, Callum (Patricia); nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and lifelong friend Ron. Mavis worked as a secretary at Wagner Engineering and The Citizen newspaper. She was an active volunteer in the community in her retirement years. She enjoyed her activities at Silver Harbour Senior’s Centre, Keep Well at North Shore Neighbourhood House, and her visits to the casino.
