Steven Lawrence Walker

Steven Lawrence Walker, 39, passed away suddenly in his home on July 23, 2018. His memorial service will be held Thursday, August 9th at 2pm at the Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver followed by a reception for family and friends. Steve was born on February 9, 1979 in North Vancouver to Norm and Dee. Steve was intelligent, quick witted, and possessed a wonderful sense of humour. Norm re-married Linda, Steven’s stepmom, in 1983. Steve became the youngest member of a blended family of six siblings. He is survived by his parents, Norm, Dee and Linda, and his son, Ollie who was born in 2009, and his brother Michael, his sister Jennifer, his stepbrother Matthew, and his stepsister Kelcy. Sadly, he was predeceased by his stepsister Colleen in 2014. Steve loved people, and as a friend, he was extremely loyal, and kind. He was a sweet, gentle soul, with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He loved his family dearly and he took great joy in all family celebrations. Most of all he loved his son Ollie, his life’s greatest treasure, his eternal blessing and his unending joy. Steve is remembered by his family, his friends, and his son, as a funny, loving, and kind son, brother, and father. We will always love and miss him.
