Jessie Orona Jr.

Jessie Orona Jr., age 59 passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at his home. He was born November 22, 1959 in Colorado City, TX to Jesus and Gloria Orona. He lived life to the fullest. He was a master electrician for 30 years and a professional driver for 3 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren and with his roosters which were his pride and joy. He enjoyed making people laugh, he loved singing, and dancing. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Jesusita Molina, maternal grandfather Thomas Molina, paternal grandmother Agripina Anaya Orona, paternal grandfather Juan Orona, brother Lanny Orona. He is survived by his parents Jesus and Gloria Orona; his loving wife Ruby Sanchez Orona, his 3 daughters Amanda Vuelvas, husband Tino of Odessa, Tiffany Orona, husband Gilbert of Odessa; Jessica Gonzales, husband Chris of Denver City; his only son Jesse Orona III of Odessa. Two sisters Lisa Banuelos and Priscilla Orona; 2 brothers David Orona, wife Sharon and Johnny Orona, wife Anita all of Odessa. He has 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed dearly. Viewing will be Tuesday, March 19th from 1pm-9pm, Wednesday, March 20th from 9am-9pm with a rosary starting at 7pm Wednesday evening all at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home and Chapel, 4635 Oakwood Dr. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, March 21, 2019, 10:00 am St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be Jonathan Araujo, Brayden Gonzales, Jimmy Banuelos, Steven Olivarez, Adrian Cruz, Brian Banuelos, Albert Cruz and Boogie Nunez.
