Robert Enos Jones

Robert was born July 24, 1944 in Oklahoma City to A.E. and Goldie (Oldham) Jones. He passed away on October 2, 2019. Robert was a machinist by trade, working with Crowel machines for many years. He was a talented craftsman. Robert served in both the Navy and the Army. He was also a 33rd degree Mason and an ordained priest in the Liberal Catholic Church. Robert was the rock for his family; he was smart, compassionate, and never failed to see the best in everyone he met. He liked getting out to go on road trips whenever he could. Robert’s favorite TV shows were Gunsmoke, MASH, and Fox News. His family meant the world to him, especially his grandkids. He had a great sense of humor that will be dearly missed. His family remembers him as always being calm and level-headed. They could depend on him for anything. He was a stoic man who was always respectful of others. Robert is survived by his daughter, Jaida Ashmore; daughter, Jill Jones; son, Jared Jones; son-in-law, Durley Clark; son-in-law, Brandon Hire; daughter-in-law, Melinda Jones; grandkids, Kourtnie Fileck, Kelsie Stogsdill, Morgan Jones, Lily Hire, Molly Ashmore, Adam Jones-McGuire, Ian Schneider, Emery Jones, Landon Hire, and Jensen Jones; and sisters, Suzanne Snider and Marylee Weiss. He was preceded in death by his parents, A.E. and Goldie Jones; wife, Vicki Lynn Jones; and sister, Jane Holt.
