Robert "Red" W. Watson

Robert passed away suddenly at Cape Cod Hospital on Monday, September 02, 2019. He was born on April 30, 1935. Robert was married for 40 years to his wife Beverly, and was the father to two sons, William and his wife Jackie of Harwich and Jonathan of Falmouth, and step-father to Ivan and his wife Sue Simonds of Windsor, VT. He leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Robert retired from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Works after 30 years, and the Captain’s Course after 19 years. Robert enjoyed playing golf and deer hunting. He will be greatly remembered for his sense of humor and friendly smile. Viewing hours will be held at Nickerson Funeral Home, located at 87 Crowell Road in Chatham on Sunday, September 8th from 2-5 PM followed by a coalition at the Brewster VFW located at 989 Freemans Way # 9917, Brewster, MA 02631 from 5-8 PM.
