Phillip Ray Truitt, 64, of Ormond Beach, FL, formerly of Clearwater, FL, was carried away by angels on September 19, 2019. He was born November 8, 1954 in New Bern, NC to Agnes Ezell Truitt and Elmo Truitt.
Phil lived his life in the moment with understanding, dignity, respect, and compassion. He was a great friend to all. In his spare time, Phil enjoyed Rving and traveling with his beloved wife, Sharon. He enjoying planning adventures and finding new hats. He loved laughing at funny movies, The Three Stooges, and slightly off color jokes. Most of all, he made God a daily part of his life.
Phil loved his family immensely. He loved them unconditionally - providing, protecting, being a rock, and lending a hand when it was needed. He shared his wisdom and love - especially the lesson that listening is the highest form of acknowledgement.
