In hospital, after a courageous battle surrounded by her family, on Friday, October 4, 2019 at the age of 57 years. Beloved wife of Robert "Bob" Hume and loving mother of Terry. Beloved daughter of the late Stewart and Norah McGinnis. Dear sister of Beverly, Debra (Brian Banning) and Sharon (Gordon Cumming). Loved and sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and many dear friends. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road), on Wednesday October 9, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and after 10 am on Thursday. Funeral Service on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 11 am in the Chapel. Interment Capital Cemetery. In memoriam donations to the Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated.
