McCarthy, Lorraine Helen ( Retired Met Life) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lorraine at the General Hospital . Predeceased by her parents Raymond McCarthy and Kathleen Field. She bravely fought the ravages of COPD and Asthma and managed to maintain her positive outlook. She will be sadly missed by her brothers Douglas, Kevin (Teresa) and sister Ruth Smith ( the late Keith). Much loved aunt of Carol (Tim), Gwen and Shawn Smith; Frayne, Terry Lee (Pierre), Ian (Jackie) and Spence McCarthy. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Park Place Retirement Residence, St. Vincent Hospital and the General Hospital. Friends may pay their respects at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home 1411 Hunt Club Road at Albion Road on Friday June 21, from 2 till 4 and 6 till 8 pm. Funeral Mass Saturday at 11 am in Holy Cross Church, Fieldville, Quebec. Interment Parish cemetery. Reception to follow at the church. In memoriam donations to the Lung association, Saint Vincent Hospital or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
