Luis Farias Carvalho

Carvalho, Luis passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday September 30, 2019 at the age of 74. Son of the late Carlos Correia Carvalho and the late Maria Segunda Farias Pavao. Beloved husband of Maria Carvalho (De Sousa). Loving father of Louis (Sara) and Stephane. Proud grandfather of Anakin, Caroline, Abigail, Victoria and Mia and great grandfather of Rowan. He will be remembered by his sisters and brothers Ilda (late Edwardo), Amelia (late Domingos), Louisa (Jõan), Augusto (Maria de Anjes), Joe (Teresa) and Natalia (late Jõan). He leaves behind many nieces and nephews in Canada, in the United States and Portugal. Predeceased by his sister Maria (late José) and by his brother Manuel (late Mariana). Family and friends are invited at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home 180 Montreal Road Ottawa on Sunday October 6, 2019 from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday October 7, 2019 at Paroquia Senhor Santo Cristo Parish 1100 Kenaston Street at 11 a.m. Sincere Thanks and gratitude to the staff at the Ottawa General Hospital for their care.
