Mary (May) Young

Mary (May) Young nee Morrison With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary (May) Morrison in Ottawa on February 6th, 2019. Predeceased by her husband, Malcolm 2015. Loving and devoted mother of Barbara (Glenn), Scott (Sulara) and Bruce (Lynda), and cherished and proud grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be remembered for her great love of music and her creative spirit in many choirs from an early age. As a volunteer she was always active in many aspects of her church, and the Guiding movement. Along with her husband, she actively promoted OUR CANADA and they always worked towards the remembrances of November 11. She loved to read and to travel sharing her passion and knowledge of history. Prior to a family internment of May and Malcolm in the Field of Honour in Pointe Claire, Quebec, a memorial service will be held at Bells Corners United Church, 3955 Old Richmond Road, Nepean, Ontario on Saturday, February 16th at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to a charity of your choice.
