Pauline Amy Powell

Pauline Amy Doris Dickens Powell June 20, 1924- October 22, 2018 Pauline Amy Doris Dickens Powell, aged 94, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2018 at the Rockland Manor in Rockland, Ontario. She had been a resident at the Manor for the past 18 months. She was born in Poole, England to Robert Charles and Amy (Rendell) Dickens. She was married to her late husband, Raymond Powell, in 1949 and they immigrated to Canada in 1957. She was an accomplished sewer, knitter and a seasoned traveler, visiting family and friends in England, the US and several other countries. She was a member of the St. Andrews Christian Church in Rockland. She is survived by her four children: Wendy (Roy) Guppy of Bridport, England, Kelvin (Tania) Powell of Montreal, Jane (Ron) Cooper of Rockland, Karen (Michael) Beedy of South Carolina, her brother Brian (Janet) Dickens of Bath, England, grandchildren, Anita, Angela, James and Victoria as well as five great grand children. A memorial service will be held at St. Andrews Christian Church, 739 St. Jean St. Rockland Ont. on November 15th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Andrews Christian Church.
