KANT, Rhonda Leah “Cindy” October 7, 1955 – March 7, 2019 It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rhonda Leah “Cindy” Kant. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was pre-deceased by her parents Lorraine Robertson and John Graydon Logan and her sister Joanne Logan. Rhonda “Cindy” enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing cards. She spent her days with her loving husband Douglas A. Kant, married since October 12, 1974. It was a classic storybook love affair that started over 44 years ago, giving a new meaning to the term “love at first sight.” Blessed with 3 loving children; Angela (Shawn) Mckinnon, Margret Kant, and Douglas C. (Tina) Kant. Deeply missed by her grandchildren; Ty, Taylor, Shailynne, Devon, and Penelopee. Her pride and joy was having a beautiful and loving family. Rhonda “Cindy” leaves behind many siblings, Jim (Wanda) Logan, Billy (Joey) Logan, Bobby (Rosey) Logan, Randy (Frances) Logan, Tommy (Deb) Logan, Laurie (Doug) Bennett, Diane Landry, Julia Landry and Pauline Vincent and her many nieces and nephews. Daughter-in-law to Phillis (Charles deceased) Kant and sister’s in law, Charlotte (Yvon deceased) McColl, Sheridan (Chuck) Burdan, Renita (Peter) Racico and Rhonda Kant. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa on Tuesday, March 12 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm.
