Janet Louise Seese

Janet Louise Seese, 94, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Sharonbrooke Assisted Living. She was born on June 15, 1925 in Salem, OH, a daughter to the late Lloyd and Harriet (Ross) Seese. Janet graduated from nurse's training in 1945. She served in the US Navy from 1956 to 1958 at the US Naval Hospital, Camp Pendleton, California. Janet later was employed and then retired from LTV Steel in Cleveland, Ohio. When asked how Janet spent most of her time after retirement, the answer was "puttering around the house." She kept her home, inside and out, meticulous and pristine. As a hobby Janet made beautiful stained glass pieces that she displayed so proudly in her home. She also enjoyed spending time with her dear friends going shopping and out to eat and with her kitty cat who was always by her side. Janet is survived by her nieces and nephews, Alan Seese, Susie Seese, Terry Seese, Sharon Seese, Margie McCullough, Emma Grow, Melissa Folk, Gale Seese, Ross Seese and many great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her siblings, Kathleen Flynn, Dwayne Seese, Nathan Seese and Henry Ross Seese. Honoring the families wishes cremation will take place. Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Riverside Cemetery, 3607 Pearl Rd., Cleveland, OH 44109.
