Mrs. Bobbie C Hayes

Bobbie C Hayes, 80, passed away Thursday September 26, 2019. Born in Pickens she is the daughter of the late Robert Taft Chappell and Ella Rhe Gillespie and wife of the late Milford Ervin Hayes. Bobbie was a homemaker and of the Wesleyan faith. Survivors include one son; Michael Ervin Hayes ( Cheryl) of Pickens, a daughter; Julie Carol Trotter of Tamassee, South Carolina, two brothers; Wayne Chappell , Dwayne "Deeter" Chappell both of Pickens, five grandchildren; Shane Hayes (Amanda), Michelle Gareri (Corey), Elijah Hayes (Sara), Jamie Nix (Josh) and Jordan Trotter. Bobbie also leaves eight great grandchildren and a best friend Gale Grant, to share in her memory. In addition to her parents and her husband of 50 years she is predeceased by a sister Thaylia Abercrombie . Visitation will be held Monday, September 30, 2019 10 am until 11am at Dillard Funeral. Services will follow in the chapel at 11am. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
