Thomas William (Tom) Reynolds passed away peacefully with family by his side at Fir Park Village on June 25, 2018 at the age of 85. He was born in Nanaimo, BC on April 15, 1933.
Predeceased by his parents Robert and Ethel, brothers Bob and Jack, brothers-in-law Harold Newton and Ted Burton, and sister-in-law Edna Hallam.
Survived by his loving wife Margaret, brothers George and wife Barbara of Victoria, James and wife Fatinia of Port Alberni, sisters Cathie Newton and Rose Burton of Port Alberni, Yvonne Dol and husband Lou of Courtenay, Margaret Evans and husband Don of Nanaimo, sisters-in-law Darlene Reynolds of Courtenay and Helen Reynolds of Port Alberni. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families and his special companion “Missy”.
Tom worked as a towboat skipper for Stone Brothers and Pacific Towing for 36 years. He was an avid gardener who had a green thumb. Following Tom’s wishes, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Port Alberni SPCA or Fir Park Village Foundation.
