Helen Ethel Broadwater

In loving memory of Helen E. Broadwater, 89, who passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte, Florida. She was born December 25, 1929 in Coshocton, Ohio to Earl and Ruth Guilliams. She graduated from Coshocton High School in 1947, and married William (Bill) Broadwater, November 17, 1948. Helen had 4 children, Diana Ball (husband Bruce) from Arizona, Debra Wood (husband Lennie) from Michigan, Michael (deceased) and Deidra (David) Vanskiver of Port Charlotte. She had 13 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. Helen also leaves behind a sister, Joan Householder of Port Charlotte, brother, Jim Guilliams of Warsaw, Ohio, a brother-in-law, Everett Broadwater of Paris, Ohio, many nieces and nephews and dear friends, J.R. and Jean Burris of Coshocton, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, her step father, her husband, her son and her grandson and brother. Helen loved Mickey Mouse, angels and owls. She enjoyed embroidering, working with plastic canvas, bowling, bingo, fossil hunting and gambling. She especially liked her lotto scratch-off tickets. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice or a charity near and dear to your heart in Helen’s name.
