Margaret Shelby Parsons

Margaret Shelby Parsons, age 94, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019. She was born in Bunker Hill, TN, on December 19, 1924, member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church, and a member of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Kirk and Mary Lou Sanders Carden. She is survived by her son, Don Shelby and Debbie of Fredericksburg, VA, her daughter, Shirley Tankersley and J. W. of Pulaski, TN, her stepsons, Rann Parsons of Gallatin, TN and Tony Parsons of Murfreesboro, TN, her sisters, Ruth Dunavant of Campbellsville, TN, Nell Odom of Mt. Juliet, TN, and several of her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. The Visitation will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial to follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
