Obituary of Claudette L. Watson
Claudette L. Watson, 61, of Richardson, Texas, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019. A celebration of Life will be held at Sparkman Funeral Home Chapel in Richardson, Texas, on Friday, May 17, 2019, at 11:00 am; with Pastor Nathan Tucker officiating. Claudette was born on December 22, 1957, in San Mateo, California. As a young girl, she attended school in Redwood City, CA. and graduated from Sequoia High School. She and Mark met and fell in love in 1992 and were married in Las Vegas in 1998. They moved to Texas in 1997. Claudette was a dedicated employee in the accounts payable department of English Color for 17 years. Claudette’s greatest treasures were her children and grandchildren, whom she loved very much. When she spoke of them, you could see the twinkle in her eye. They brought her great joy. She also loved her sweet Pekingese pup Rio, who would lay beside her and comfort her when she wasn’t feeling well. Claudette will he remembered as being tiny but fiesty! She was very resilient and much stronger than she looked. She did not complain and didn’t want others to know when she was in pain with her illnesses. Her family and friends will remember that she loved them & life. With her generous nature, she gave the world, if she could. She never liked to see anyone sad or upset. She had the best contagious laugh. When you heard it, you couldn’t help but laugh with her. Claudette was also a wonderful cook and enjoyed sharing her recipes. Not only was she beautiful, but she had a tender loving spirit. She was a good listener. Claudette was easy to love. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Mark Watson;daughter, Liana Butler & husband, Steven; grandsons, Olen & Joseph; son, Jose Cuadra & wife, Antoinetta; granddaughters, Annalisa & Abigail;adoptive mother, Catalina Bueno; brother Peter Masulit & wife, Dolores; brother, Ruben Masulit; brother, Ralph Masulit; sister, Stacey Madrid & husband, Orlando; brother, Rudy Masulit; brother, Mike Riola; brother, Manny Labrador and wife, Mellisa; sister, Catherine Shuck; sister, Cynthia Lavarias and husband, Mario. Also, mother in law, Shirley Watson; sister in law, Haila Mahan and husband Mike; sister in law, Reesa Allwine and husband Rick; cousin in law Tracy Maxwell and wife Teri; and numerous nieces and nephews,great nieces and great nephews,aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She is preceded in death by parents, Pedro Masulit and Irene Riola; adoptive father, Manny “Bobby” Labrador; brother Glen Masulit; daughter, Maria Cuadra; and nephew, Anthony Madrid.
