Herb Spencer OCTOBER 3, 1936 – JANUARY 2, 2019 Herb Spencer died January 2, 2019, at his home in Madison, MS from a heart attack. He was 82 years old. Parkway Funeral Home is handling arrangements. A family graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019. Herb is survived by his loving children and their families: Daughters, Kathy Spencer Byrd (Bo) and Susan Spencer Neese (Stan), grandchildren, Dakota Byrd (fiancé Kellie), Kyle Byrd, and Nicolas Neese. He is also survived by his brother, Treadwell “Spence” Spencer (Lou). He was preceded in death by his parents, Treadwell and Ellen Spencer. Herb served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. Herb worked as a Pharmacist for 49 years in the state of Texas. After retiring he relocated back to his home state of Mississippi to be near his family.
