Benjamin "Benny" Grijalva

Benjamin was born July 5th, 1973 to Manuel and Elisa Grijalva. Benny was the eldest of two children. Benjamin was preceded in death by his father Manuel Grijalva, and maternal grandparents Alfonso & Juanita Avilez, and Consuelo Audelo. Benjamin is survived by his mother Elisa Grijalva, his grandparents Teresa & Manuel Grijalva, his loving companion Monica Alonzo & stepdaughter Monique, sister Melissa (Vincent Lozano) and his niece and nephew Averie and Buky Lozano. Benny was an 18-wheel truck driver for the majority of his working life. Driving big rigs afforded Benny to see all the lower 48 US State's as well as Canada. Benny was a sports enthusiast, an avid Los Angeles Dodger and Pittsburg Steeler fan. His greatest joy was watching his niece play softball and nephew play football, and golf. Benny was kind loyal spirited man, always with a giving heart to those who know him, had a contagious smile, and made friends wherever he went. A rosary for Benjamin will be held Friday, June 14, 2019, from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, 3680 Arlington Avenue, Riverside, CA 92506. A celebration of mass will occur Friday, June 14, 2019, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Catherine Of Alexandria Catholic Church, 3680 Arlington Avenue, Riverside, CA 92506. A graveside service will occur Friday, June 14, 2019, from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Olivewood Memorial Park, 3300 Central Avenue, Riverside, CA 92506. Celebration of life reception will follow after graveside service at The Masonic Lodge 6785 Palm Ave. Riverside CA 92506.
