James D. "Bubba" Gholston, born on April 28, 1933 in Palestine, TX, passed away on June 9, 2019 at the age of 86. James is survived by his Stepson, Louis Gholston; siblings, Clifton Wells Gholston, Troy W. Gholston, Larry Gholston, Jeanice Olmstead, Bernice Monroe and Sharon Brandt; nieces, Angila Davis and Belinda Shaw; nephews, Mark Gholston and Robert Ellis; great-nephews, Joshua and Nicholas. The Funeral Service will be conducted in the Trevino Funeral Home Chapel at 226 Cupples Rd. at 12:00 p.m., Friday, June 14, 2019 with Pastor Albert Byrum officiating. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery III.
