Maxine Hope Bear

Born and raised in Whitecap/Saskatoon, Maxine was a very intelligent, artistic, big hearted lady. Maxine’s hobbies were beading, drawing and painting. Her love for her children, grandchildren and family was immense. Maxine is survived by her children Stephanie (Joseph) Langan-Bear, Heather Brittain, Laura Brittain, Rebecca Brittain, Paris Brittain, and Travis Brittain; 9 grandchildren; maternal siblings Darcy Bear, Nicole (Ray) Johnstone, Terry Parenteau, Greg Parentaeu, Richard (Sheri) Parenteau; paternal siblings Steven Littlecrow, Kevin Littlecrow, Rachel Littlecrow, Diane Littlecrow, Janet (Devin) Villeneuve, and Roland Villeneuve; special friend Calvin “Brad” Okemaysim. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Nicholas and Mabel (Red) Bear; mother Roseanna Royal; stepfather Ralph Royal; aunt Shirley Elliott; uncles Roy Bear and Raymond Bear. A Wake Service will be held on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at 4:00 pm at the Whitecap Dakota First Nation Gym. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Whitecap Dakota First Nation Gym.
