Sikeston – Jane Anne Drake, age 70, passed away on July 4, 2019 at her home in Sikeston, MO.
She was born June 14, 1949 in Cape Girardeau, MO. to the late Henry Andrew and Clara Mae Buhs Miederhoff. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston, MO.
On April 28, 1971 in Sikeston, MO. she married Carroll Drake who survives of the home in Sikeston, MO.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Crystie and Bobby Ressel of Sikeston, MO.; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Steve and Erin Drake of Sikeston, MO. and Matthew and Sarah Drake of Sikeston, MO.; six grandchildren, Katie Rose Ressel, Charlie Ressel, Lindsay Jane Drake, Ella Drake, Clara Beth Drake and Johnny Drake; three brothers, Harold (Libby) Miederhoff of Columbia, MO., Dr. Pat Miederhoff of Highland Springs, VA. and Paul (Linda) Miederhoff of Kelso, MO.; one sister, Alice (Joe) Towe of Sikeston, MO. and sister-in-law, Barbara Theohar.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Miederhoff and Jim Miederhoff.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston, MO., David Dohogne, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
Pallbearers will be Andy Miederhoff, Tim Miederhoff, John Towe, Paul David Miederhoff, Justin Landers and Jason Landers.
