Charles A Youngfeldt

Charles A. Youngfeldt, age 86, passed peacefully into the arms of his Savior on August 25, 2018. Charles was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, to Charles A. Youngfeldt and Sophia Youngfeldt (née Schultz). Charlie loved the Bible and over the years taught many Bible studies and Sunday School classes. He enjoyed gardening, painting, tennis, chess, and playing brass instruments. Charlie received a B.A. from Eastern Baptist College in St. Davids, Pennsylvania, and graduated with a M.Div. from the Reformed Episcopal Seminary of Philadelphia. He worked for many years, until his retirement, as a Workers Compensation Insurance Adjuster. Charles was the husband of the late Esther Youngfeldt (née Bido). He is survived by his loving children Sheryl Karen Smith (David), Susan Jean Mattes (Donald), Sandra Esther Banker (Stephen) and Charles Calvin Youngfeldt (Satoko); twelve grandchildren - Heather, Michael, Tricia, Melissa, Kailyn, Jessica, Joshua, Lisa, Alycia, Hannah, Nathanael, and Amanda; and 17 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Trinity Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 151 West County Line Road, Hatboro, PA 19040. A lite reception will follow immediately in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Charles' memory be made to Trinity Orthodox Presbyterian Church (151 W. County Line Road, Hatboro, PA 19040) or your local SPCA reflecting Charles' love for the church and the family pets.
