Louis Haddad

Louis Haddad, age 62, passed away surrounded by his loving daughters on Thursday, August 1, 2019, in Spring Hill, Florida. Louis was born May 3, 1957, in Brooklyn, New York, to Mitchell and Marie (Habib) Haddad. He obtained his bachelor’s degree at SUNY Binghamton in 1978 and then earned his law degree at Syracuse University College of Law School in 1982. Louis worked hard as an attorney for over 30 years. Louis was a vibrant, loving man with a great sense of humor. Louis enjoyed vacationing with his family to the beach, fishing, coaching his children’s soccer games, and loved to prove that he can fix anything. But most of all, Louis loved his family and was a friend to many. He is survived by his seven daughters, Laura (Jesse) Thomas, Christina (Islam) Haddad, Michele (Jarrod) Kolb, Elizabeth Haddad, Diana Haddad, Elaine Haddad, and Louise Haddad; his mother, Marie Haddad; his sister, Michele (Philip) Otterbeck; and six grandchildren. Louis is predeceased by his father, Mitchell Haddad. Family, friends, and others whose lives Louis touched are invited to CASEY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Slosson Ave., Staten Island, NY 10314, from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 for calling hours. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 7, 2019. Following the funeral service Louis’ burial will take place at Maplewood Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum at 169 W.
