Obituary of Warren C Schmauch
Warren Charles Schmauch, 76 Devoted husband, Dad and Grandpa Warren Charles Schmauch was born April 9, 1943 in Brooklyn New York. He passed peacefully surrounded by family on September 4, 2019 at the age of 76. Warren was a lifelong resident of Staten Island NY. He was a carpenter, mechanic and dedicated NYC Firefighter until his retirement in 1988. Warren loved being near the water, he enjoyed boating and jet skiing. Warren took pleasure in flying model airplanes, music and modern technology. Warren was known for his intelligence, and his ability to fix absolutely anything. He was always willing to help family and friends and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Margaret, and their children: William (Rochelle) Schmauch, Lynda (Roger) Sander, Michael (Dawn) Schmauch and Thomas (Brenda) Schmauch. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Eric, Alexis, Olivia, Cara and Amelia. Warren is survived by his brother George Schmauch and will be lovingly remembered by extended family and friends. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday September 6, 2019 at Casey McCallum Rice South Shore Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Saturday September 7, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home, followed by internment at Resurrection Cemetery 361 Sharrot Avenue, Staten Island, NY. A gathering celebrating Warren’s life will be held following the funeral at the Great Kills Yacht Club, 37 Mansion Ave., Staten Island, NY.
