Dennis Harry Hackett

Dennis "Denny" Harry Hackett, 75, after many years of traveling across this great nation and recently of Sacramento, California passed away peacefully of natural causes on Thursday, September 26, 2019. He left this world with great dignity, in his comfy robe, eating snacks, and watching a John Wayne movie with his dog, Jake, as he truly would have wanted. Dennis was born on December 7th, 1943 in Santa Ana, California to Harry "Red" Henry Hackett and Katherine (Fuller) Hackett. He had two sisters, one of whom, Charlotte, proceeded him in death, and his baby sister Susan. He is survived by beloved wife of 52 years, Linda Kay Hackett. His sons Dennis, Michael, Patrick and his daughters Adriane and Katherine "Katie", his fourteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, as well as many, many, dear friends and family. Denny always loved John Wayne, but to us he will always be OUR John Wayne. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
