IN THE CARE OF
Sunland Memorial Park, Mortuary & Cremation Center
Alfred Viselli (b. 3/10/27 – d. 7/11/19) and Nancy Viselli (Sarro)(b. 1/27/31 – d. 7/10/19) met in 1947 through Nancy’s brother Frank who said it was love at first sight for the two of them.
After a two-year courtship they married on October 9, 1949 in Holy Redeemer Church in Freeport, LI, NY and from that point on it was life lived to the fullest.
For 72 years they stood side by side and never looked back and when their time came to an end, Alfred kept his promise to never leave her and held Nancy’s hand as he saw her on her way. Ten hours later, Alfred joined the love of his life.
They are survived by daughter Linda O’Hara (Patrick) and son John (Darla), their oldest son Michael having predeceased them in 1999 (Pauline); five grandchildren, Shannon Shuck (Jason), Matthew Viselli (Victoria), Cassandra Atherton (Robert), Alexandria Johnson (Jesse) and Lacey Viselli and five great grandchildren, Derick, Serena, Alexander, Viviana and Michael.
