PALANIO, Clayton Michael, 1989-2018
The Palanio & Kuehne family sadly announce the passing of their beloved Clayton on April 24, 2018. He passed peacefully and unexpectedly at Langley Memorial Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre on May 5, 2018 at 1 p.m.
Clayton was born on Jan. 15, 1989 in Squamish, BC. He grew up in this community and at the age of 13 moved with his family to Cloverdale, BC. He graduated from Clayton Heights Secondary in 2007. He attended BCIT, completing his plumbing apprenticeship in 2012. He was proud to be part of a family legacy of plumbers.
Clayton loved to be challenged athletically. He was a mountain biker and participated in many test of metal races in Squamish; he was a rugby player and enjoyed all water and snow sports. He was a quiet gentle man, with a brilliant smile and a large heart. He loved to eat, to play and to hold his babies.
Clayton joins his grandparents, Fred & Cilla Kuehne and Alec & Carol Palanio. Clayton is survived by his parents, Rick and Heidi (Kuehne) Palanio, his brother Jesse, his beautiful children Alec & Lennan, as well as, several uncles, aunts and a large extended family.
A beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, friend and a father. Our family will never be complete again. Clay was loved, is missed and will never be forgotten. He remains forever young and forever strong. His ashes will be laid to rest in the Palanio plot at the Victory Memorial Cemetery.
