Melvin Thomas Angus Joseph Dennis Eskasoni It is with heavy hearts that the family of Melvin Thomas Angus Joseph Dennis, age 27, of Eskasoni, announce his passing on February 22, 2019 at his home. Born in Sydney, he was the son of Mary Catherine (Paul) and the late Clayton Dennis Sr.. Melvin was a person that was fun to be around, always a Jokester, being the comedian he was and never missing an opportunity to tease someone. He spent his pastime playing 45’s , baseball and gambling. He is survived by his girlfriend Alicia Googoo; daughters Kenaisha and Nikkiah ‘Humpsy’; sons Jason and David; brothers Frank, Clayton Jr. (Giselle), Timothy (Melissa), Stuart; foster sister Randee,foster brother Diego; godchildren Chasity Denny, Duncan Dennis; nephews Cole, Darius, niece Norelle and godparents Sean Ryan Paul and Margie Marshall. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides his father, Melvin was predeceased by his brother Clayton, grandparents Theodore and Melvina Paul; Frank and Mary Jane Dennis. Visitation will begin at 7 pm on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at family residence at 130 Spencer’s Lane, Eskasoni. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Monday, March 4 at Holy Family Church with Fr. Martin MacDougall officiating. Interment in Holy Family Parish Cemetery, Eskasoni.
