Christine Holt

Christine Holt, age 82 of New Tazewell TN. was born April 23, 1937 in Bell County KY, and passed away on May 11, 2019. She was saved at an early age and was a member of Raven Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Christine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her love for cooking and people inspired her to manage, The Stockyard Café with her daughter Penny for 9 years. She went on to open, Chris's Kitchen with the help of her two daughters, Penny and Norma for 6 years. It warmed her heart and put a smile on her face when people loved her cooking. Declining health forced her to retire from a career she loved. Christine was preceded in death by her daughter, Norma Anderson, parents Lewis Elbert and Mary Katherine Miracle, brothers Harold and Carlie Miracle, father-in-law and mother-in-law Fred and Eva Holt, sister-in-law Lucille Cody, brother-in-law Phil Dean Holt. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Ken Holt, daughter Penny Sharp (Gene Conners), sons Allen (Barb) Holt, Dwayne (Malinda) Holt, and Mark Holt, sister Lola Sizemore, grandchildren Hayley Holt, Kenneth Allen Holt, Tracy (John) Kelly, Justin (Jessica) Sharp, Josh (Jennifer) Holt, Jacob (Melita) Holt, Joseph Holt and fiancé Sarah, Derek Rickett, Nicole Holt, Mikaela Edwards, sister-in-laws Debbie Whitaker, Frances Payne, Irene Morgan, Adia Davis, Ruby Holt, Shirley Miracle, and Judy Miracle, brother-in-laws Roy (Penny ) Holt, Ronnie (Joyce) Holt, and Chuck Sizemore. As well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other friends and relatives. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Amedysis Hospice. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 14th from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel.
