Linda C. Schmidt

Linda C. Schmidt, 70, Toms River, passed away on September 22, 2019 at home. Born in the Bronx, NY, she resided in Toms River most of her life. Linda received her Bachelor’s Degree from Stockton University in Galloway Twp. She was a Management Specialist with Lakehurst Naval Air Warfare Center in Lakehurst for over 20 years before her retirement. Linda really enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, knitting and watching movies. She loved spending time with her family, especially her 5 precious grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Carmela Aglione. Surviving are her children, Derek Schmidt and his wife Theresa, Dina Santos and her husband Victor, Doug Schmidt and his wife Fatima; her brothers Michael Aglione Jr. and his wife Janet and Thomas Aglione; her sister Elissa DePalma and her husband Silvio; her cherished grandchildren Derek Jr., Sophia Rose, Gavin, Brooke, and Vincent; and many caring nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 28th at 9:30 a.m. at St. John’s RC Church, 619 Chestnut St., Lakehurst. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery in Holmdel.
