Dorothy Elizabeth Bader

Passed away peacefully on March 1st, 2018 in Toronto, Ontario at the age of 88. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Violet Wilson, sisters Audrey and Kathleen (Kevin) and dear friend of many years, Ann King. Dorothy is survived by her loving daughters Lisa (Arianne), Leslie and grandson, Alexander. A mother and a hard working career woman, she dedicated the last 27 years of her working life to the United Church of Canada where she came to meet a wonderful and close friend, Mary Rose (Heather). Described as a woman with style, Dorothy enjoyed shopping, jewelry, and clothes. She knew how to find a good bargain and enjoyed perusing the local thrift stores to find one. She enjoyed reading, crosswords, and travel. She loved going on cruises with her best friend, Ann. Dorothy loved a good laugh and was known to be rather witty and humorous but above all else, she was known to be generous, kind, giving, loving, and loyal. She will be deeply missed by the St. Matthew’s Bracondale House community, her family, and all of those whose lives she touched.
