Obituary of Lynette Estella Chin
Lynette Estella Chin, born February 16th,1941 to Jeremiah Smith and Dorine Chin, in De Willem, West Coast, Demerara, Guyana. Lynette passed away on April 12th, 2018 peacefully in her home. Lynette was the 1st of her nine brothers and sisters. She left Guyana on October 14th, 1979 to Toronto, Canada. Lynette worked hard to acquire all the best that life could offer herself and her family. In her early life she worked at Highlight Fashion and Party time doing what she loved. Lynette has a passion for sewing and creating dresses. But anyone that knew her would know that she wasn’t only good at being a seamstress. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and lending a helping hand to those in need. Lynette was always a hardworking, independent, selfless woman. She will dearly be missed by many. She survived by her Daughter Sharon Brant, and son-in law Ray Brant. Grandson’s Michael Chin, Andrew, and Daniel Brant. Daughter in-law Andrea Chin. Granddaughters Rayann and Ashley Chin and great grandson Malikai Chin. Lynette will also be missed by her many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at THE JERRETT FUNERAL HOME (1141 St. Clair Ave W., one block east of Dufferin St.) on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm & 6:00 – 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 12:00pm at The Jerrett Funeral Home. A cremation will be held privately following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers the family wishes you to make donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
