Joseph David Hill

Joseph David Hill, age 22, of Tyler, Texas passed away on Tuesday September 24, 2019. Joseph was born July 6, 1997 to Clifford and Claire Hill. Joseph had a kind and gracious heart; he often went out of his way to help anyone in need. He loved tinkering with objects, he would take things apart and then put them back together, even if in the end they didn’t work as he planned. Joseph was known as the Brownie King, for his love of cooking. His nieces and nephews loved when “Uncky J” would make puppy chow, no other could make it as he did. Joseph was a logical and levelheaded man; even with his quiet persona, everyone knew he had a big heart. He graduated from Robert E. Lee with the class of 2016 and was a member of the Cub Scouts pack 369. Joseph was also one of the managers at Rudy’s Barbeque in Tyler and was very well loved by his close work family there and will be greatly missed by all. Joseph is survived by his parents Clifford and Claire Hill; brothers Bill (Jennifer) Osburn, Alan Osburn and Chris (Kayla) Osburn; sisters Krystal (Kevin) Guillot, Anne Osburn, Kristina (Jeremy) Mitchell and Kaitlin Osburn; nieces and nephews Alice, Alex, Ed, Caleb, Kaylee and Rachel; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Joseph is proceeded in death by his grandparents James and Lucille Hill, and Edward and Nancy Hoynes. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in Josephs name. The Mass of Christian Burial for Joseph will be held Friday, October 11, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of St. Peter and Paul, 1435 E SE loop 323, Tyler, Texas 75701.
