Jaime M. Francisco, 70, of Gladstone, New Jersey, and originally of Jersey City, New Jersey (“Jimmy”), loving father, husband, brother, and friend, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 7th, 2019, at his residence. Jimmy was born on January 24, 1949, in Marikina, Philippines, the son of Agapito and Florentina Francisco. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Teresita (“Tess”), who was devotedly by his side when he passed, his two children Maria Therese Francisco and Russel David Francisco, and his grand-puppies Sam and Bug. Jimmy is also survived by his brothers, Rolando, Agapito Jr. [deceased], Guillermo, Danny, Ernesto, Gerardo, and Antonio. As a young father in the early 1980s, Jimmy brought his family from the Philippines to the United States, where they first resided in North Hollywood, California. In 1986, Jimmy drove them cross-country from California to New York, where he reunited with several of his brothers. Jimmy and Tess eventually settled their family in Jersey City, New Jersey. Jimmy worked multiple jobs tirelessly over two decades. After 15 years working at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Jimmy retired in 2010. Jimmy and Tess raised two successful children who built wonderful lives of their own in America, just as Jimmy and Tess had prayed for. When Jimmy closed his eyes for the last time, he had long fulfilled his American Dream. Jimmy loved cars, driving, history, classic rock, and photography. Jimmy was an avid fan of basketball, boxing, horse racing, and he also enjoyed a good casino. Family and friends may call on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 4 to 8p.m. at Leber Funeral Home, 2000 John F.
