Vijay Deep Singh

SINGH, Vijay (Mikey) May 21, 1963 – November 1, 2018 Vijay (Mikey) Singh left us far too soon and suddenly at age 55 on November 1, 2018, with family at his side. Predeceased by his parents, Kaur and Kamla Singh. Survived by his stepmother, Dharma (Bimla) Wati, brothers, Dan, Robert and Aivikash, sisters, Pravin and Kiran Prasad, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and family friends. Mikey was a Dad to Jordan Mason, Caitlin and Megan Singh, and Grandpa to Jalen. Mikey was much loved and will be sadly missed by family and friends. He will be remembered for loving his family especially his children and grandson, and his passion for the “beautiful game”. Mikey was a formidable striker with a left foot that all goalkeepers in the Fiji league dreaded. A memorial service and reception will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Broadway Church, 2700 East Broadway, Vancouver, BC. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made, in memory of Vijay (Mikey) Singh, to the Burnaby Firefighters Charitable Society, #205-6515 Bonsor Avenue, Burnaby, V3B 7G2.
