Violet Pavlakis

Pavlakis, Violet May 7, 1982 – November 18, 2018 Violet passed away Sunday November 18, 2018 surrounded by the love of her family, from complications of cancer that she fought with courage and grace. The cancer never defeated her positive attitude, indomitable spirit and love for life. She was the heart of her close-knit family and her wonderful group of friends and peers. A life long Vancouverite, she was happy traveling to Greece, Cabo and many other destinations and never wanted to miss an opportunity to share in fun and friendship. Before she got home she was already planning her next trip. She will be greatly missed by her parents, Nonda and Kay and her beloved brother John. She also leaves behind her grandparents, her aunts and uncles, cousins, family in Greece and many friends all over the world. Her family wishes to acknowledge the care and comfort given to her by Drs. Fritz, Lavoie, Murray and The entire staff at the BC Cancer Agency and VGH. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 11:00 at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 4500 Arbutus Street, Vancouver. The entombment ceremony will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the BC Cancer Agency.
