Waldemar Herbert Pawlik

Waldemar Herbert Pawlik, 89, passed away on Monday, December 10th, 2018 in Richmond, BC. Waldemar was born on June 8th, 1929 in Reichenberg, Czechoslovakia, to Joseph and Valerie Pawlik. He immigrated to Canada with his family in 1949. He worked for the Vancouver Public Library until his retirement in 1990. He is pre-deceased by his wife, Leona Pawlik (nee Neufeld). Together they raised a son and two daughters and enjoyed many happy years with their eight grandchildren. There will be a viewing at Hamilton-Harron Funeral Home, 5390 Fraser Street, on December 27th, 2018 from 5 pm - 9 pm. The funeral will be held at Brighouse United Church, 8151 Bennett Road, Richmond, BC on December 28th, 2018 at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation.
