Ernest Samuel Myers

MYERS, Ernest Samuel March 29th 1932- December 25th 2018 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ernest Myers. Ernie died peacefully at Monashee Mews in Lumby, BC on Christmas Day. A lifelong resident of Cherryville BC, he was a quiet man who loved the simple pleasures of country living. Ernie enjoyed spending time outdoors, and loved being in the company of family and friends. He was well known for always having a smile on his face and for always being ready to lend a helping hand. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Helen Myers, brothers, Arthur Myers, Joseph Myers, Benjamin Myers, Lawrence Myers, and wife Carol Myers. Ernie is survived by siblings Howard (Elaine) Myers, Doreen Kohlman, and Ronald (Irene) Myers. He is also survived by his children, daughter Sharon (Neil) MacInnes, son Brian Myers, daughter Vivian Myers, and grandsons Jason and Matthew MacInnes, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at the Pleasant Valley Funeral Home in Vernon, B.C. Monday January 7th, 2019. Graveside service at 11:30 a.m. followed by a light luncheon in the tea room.
