Julie Green

Julie passed away peacefully in Vernon Jubilee Hospital on March 1, 2019 surrounded by her family at the age of 78. Julie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Marie of Vernon, Marjory (Chris) of Coldstream, and Lisa (Rob) of Ottawa. Five grandchildren, Sarah of Victoria, Tony of Surrey, Amanda of Fort St. John, Brandon of Coldstream, and Matthew of Edmonton. Sisters Mary of Coldstream, Teresa (Ken) of Vernon, Diane and Pat of Luton, England. Brothers John (Maureen), and Chris of Luton England. She is predeceased by her sister Phyllis. Julie moved to Vernon in 1973 with her 3 daughters and worked at NOCA Dairy and Ladyman Sasaki Glennie before retirement. She was known for her fast walking and could be seen walking through town daily. She enjoyed spending her last few years at the Shubert Centre. Friends and family are invited to drop by the Shubert Centre Ruby Room March 22, 2019 from 10-1 for coffee/tea to celebrate Julie’s life. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Shubert Centre, a place where Julie enjoyed a daily meal and coffee surrounded by friends.
