Margherita Campesato

CAMPESATO - Margaret (Margherita) August 18, 1932 - March 14, 2019 Margaret Campesato, 86, of Vernon BC, passed away March 14, 2019 with her family by her side. She was born in Italy in 1932 and immigrated to Canada in 1958. Married and living in Vancouver, she enjoyed a career working at Capital Crest, where she was valued and appreciated for her expertise in her fine workmanship. A move to Coquitlam brought on new adventures as she continued to raise her family. Some years later, another move to Vernon brought yet another change in life, where she worked for Consumers Glass for many years until her retirement. Predeceased by her husband John (Giovanni) Margaret is survived by her children: son Oswald, daughter Rosella Roy (husband Bernie), son Stefano (wife Rebecca) and their sons Juliano, Silvano, and Matteo. Margaret was an extremely dedicated and devoted wife, and spent her years dutifully raising her family. Her open-mindedness and respect for others was always inspirational. She never wavered from her commitments and always held strong and true. She will always be remembered for her incredible inner strength and ability to accept and overcome life's challenges and we will miss our Mamma and Nonna. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday April 6, 2019 at 1:00 pm at St. James Catholic Church 2607-27 Street, Vernon, BC followed by interment at the Coldstream Cemetery.
